Caring Meals for Others

Caring Meals is a small group ministry that focuses on lending a helping hand by providing a frozen meal, vegetables, and cookies to whomever an Ascension member feels would benefit.  Meals are available to be taken at any time to anyone: those who have lost a loved one, those who have had a baby, those who are ill, those who have lost a job.  The meals are prepared about every five to six weeks by women in the church and placed in a small freezer in the kitchen.  We are always looking for tasty recipes that freeze well, volunteers to help prepare the meals, and help to spread the word about this ministry at Ascension.
